| Thats great, I wonder what the resolution of the screen is? any pics? what inputs does it have? The PS1 projectors I have built are the Mini-Z style but the res is really not the best and it only has a video input. but it was really inexpensive to build. maybe a few hundred total in build cost.

| The only number I see is QS65 on the lcd. I will have to take it back apart to see if there is any more info. It had a florescent type tube in it. By the way becareful if you take one apart it will shock the HOLY MOLY out of you. I touched the contact for the light. Woke me right up. This is going to take me a few weeks to build. I'm a newbie. But I did build a wind generator recently, rebuilt two laptops and built my own desktop computer. So I think I can pull this one off. I can't wait to build my second projector with hi res. | Sounds like you got the discharge from a capacitor from the backlight power supply. I also see it has 2 FFC connectors, they can be a pain. I like a real LVDS cable but the PS1 has a similar arangement, here is a pic of one I did.

| I wouldnt say it is the best or only way to do a projector, I just used the Mini-Z enclosure for its size and space as it is a double folded projector.

| What lens are you using? And how far is your lens to screen? What is your projected image size? I would like to have somewhere between 6 and 12 feet lens to screen and a projected image of about 60 inches diagonal. |

| Lens is a 310-360 vari focal projector is 8 feet from the wall screen size about 55" diag.
